• Oversee all aspects of SimpleHR's benefits program such as full administration of the plans and policies, including medical insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, life insurance, COBRA, disability, 401(k) retirement plans, and other benefits.
• Resolves administrative issues with the carrier and vendor representatives and coordinates on-going enrollments and renewals with the Broker representatives. Ensures cooperation between benefit vendors and brokers as the liaison with the company.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree and two (2) years' experience in human resources or benefit administration or equivalent education and experience. 2-15 license preferred.
• Comprehensive knowledge of benefit plan principles and practices, as well as state and federal government regulations, compliance & operations.

Responsibilities:

• Verifies, reconciles, and ensures payments of the monthly premium statements for all internally administered group benefits policies.
• Coordinates vendor billing issues between the Client, Vendor and the assigned Broker to verify enrollments, types of coverage, terminations and reconcile participants on monthly billing.
• Conducts reconciliation of participant accounts in the payroll system.

Qualifications:

• Accounting degree and /or three (3) years accounting experience in all facets of general ledger accounting, including G/L posting, adjusting journal entries, bank reconciliations, A/R and A/P.
• Knowledge of generally accepted accounting procedures and terminology is required.
